Vârtop is a small ski resort between 1,450 and 1,650 m, between Arieșeni and Bihor Peak. It has over 4 km of slopes, including a FIS-certified run for giant slalom, a red slope on Cocoș Peak and an easy beginner slope. Modern chair and drag lifts plus full snowmaking guarantee cover from December to the end of March.
How do you get there?
From Cabana de Sub Deal the resort is only 8 km away, about 12–15 minutes by car on DN75. Morning and evening transfers are available on request for our guests.
How long does a day take?
A typical ski day runs 5–8 hours with breaks. Weekends include night skiing, letting you enjoy the slopes after sunset. At the base you'll find a ski school, mountain cafés and gear rental shops.
